In the beginning of January, Wee Care held a logo contest among families, friends, colleagues and followers.
A number of really excellent designs were submitted but in the end the judging committee chose this as the 50th Anniversary Logo for Wee Care.
The stylized rainbow representing the inclusiveness of diversity to create something beautiful. Of course the motto completing the circle was also very ingenious.
Wee Care would like to thank Lydia Hood and her assistant David Csinos for their collaborative work in the design, tweaking and eventual approval of this unique logo!
Celebrating Wee Care
This will be the year to celebrate this milestone in the life of Wee Care.
- In conjunction with the unveiling of the new and improved playground, we will be having a garden party of sorts. Families past and present will be invited to come and join in celebrations.
- There is a display board and table with pictures from the archives and a place for visitors and families to comment on their favourite thing about Wee Care. The children are also making their voices heard (with their families doing the scribing).
