All staff at Wee Care daycare are qualified to work in the classroom, except for the chef.

Each staff member ensures that they have an current First Aid and CPR (for children) certificate, a valid Police and Vulnerability Sector check and a Child Abuse Registry clearance. Nova Scotia Early Childhood classification requires staff to continue with educational upgrades to maintain their levels.

The infant classroom has 3 qualified teaching staff and a maximum of 10 children. The older classrooms have 3 qualified teaching staff and a maximum or 12 children. Veith House also has 3 qualified teaching staff members along with 14 preschoolers.

The therapists all have valid credentials in their chose field along with the clearances and certificates for every other staff member at the centre.

Our cook (and several staff members) maintain their Food Safety Qualifications.
