Cheryl Benedict

From Dalhousie I received a B.A. in 1983 and in 1985 I earned my Bachelor of Education, focusing on Special Education from Acadia University. I have been a proud teacher at Wee Care since September 1985. in 2009 I was honoured to be a recipient of the Prime Minister Award – Certificate of Achievement – for Excellence in Early Childhood Education. In 2018 I was awarded N.S. provincial award – The Infinity Award of Excellence – for years of service at Wee Care and in the field. In my spare time I enjoy reading and hockey, family members, the Mooseheads and the Leafs. I can often be found exploring Nova Scotia on “mini-vacations”.
