I started working at Wee Care in 2007, and in that time, I worked in almost all of the classrooms and different age groups. I am currently working as the resource teacher which I love. I work directly with children who need extra supports, collaborate with families, staff, and professionals, and find additional resources for families looking for it.

After graduating Mount Saint Vincent University, I spent a year teaching in Japan and a year in Korea before returning home to Halifax to work in childcare. I completed my Masters of Child and Youth studies in 2023. Outside of Wee Care I facilitate the workshops that support the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework. I also judge artistic swimming (aka synchronized swimming) from time to time, love to camp and kayak.
