Anna Plaskett

Music Therapist

I have been lucky to work with the amazing children and staff at Wee Care since 2008. I hold a bachelor’s degree in music performance from Michigan State University, a Certificate of Music Therapy from Acadia University, and am a Canadian Certified Music Therapist (MTA). In my practice, I work towards helping children of all levels of ability to experience the power of making and responding to music to tap into the wellness that exists within themselves. My sessions at Wee Care include a mix of music, movement, and mindfulness. In 2017 I released my debut children’s album, ‘To the Moon & Back’, which was dedicated to the children at Wee Care. Outside of work I love doing yoga, going for nature walks, creating themed music playlists, and spending time with my family.
